I got the Shizzons XSVCD Tempalte for TMPGEnc uner the VCDHelp.comn TOOLS. It says this : This Template is specifically made to fit ANY any length movie onto 1 CD WITHOUT noise blocks or best picture quality possible. Includes a tutorial how to do it also.
Has anyone tried this yet. I am encoding a 1 hr 50 min video and its showing a conversion time of about 35 hours. Is this normal for this template.
For regualr encoding to MVG VCD format a reguar length movie takes 6 to 8 hours with TMPGEnc. Are there other programs that do it faster or are they all about the same....and what about the quality if others are faster.
Thank you

That's a load of BS and I hope that you can see it as such...
As for your encoding time, what CPU have you got?

my CPU is a 450 PII
I plan on getting a 1.7 P4 soon. Will I see a big difference in encoind time for regular VCD format with that CPU
Thanks -
I'm not surprised by that time then with your processor...
If you get a 1.7 P4, you should see a MASSIVE difference in encoding time. Not only is that processor by clockrate 3x faster, it also supports SSE and SSE2 instructions which makes quite a difference.
