  1. Can someone help me find a PCI SVGA 128MB video card With DFP connector ?
I need this card to hook up a lcd monitor to a eMachine T2792...badly.

And yes, I know...emachines stink ! But I need the emachine celeron 2.7ghz to replace a P3 550mhz as my main networked PC for my store. The LCD is a MAG innovision with DFP connector and I already have a card but its a 8mg AGP...the emachine (for some reason) doesn't have a agp...so I need it to be PCI . I can't seem to find a 128mg pci card with DFP...at a affordable price. Matter of fact I can't find one over 8mg. I wouldn't mind if the card had only 64 or 32mg,but would rather it have 128. Need help quickly please. Thanks

I recently purchased this one. Of course, when I bought it, it had a $15 MIR...

I use the DVI for the flat panel, and the VGA for a 17" CRT, but it will work just as well for a single FP.

That should be compatible with the DVI connector. Although not cheap, here is a source of cables for the conversion.

  5. Thanks for your input ...but I haven't bought this connector yet...
what I'm trying to find however is a PCI video card that also has
a DFP female connector builtin. I can't seem to find one above 8 mg.
I would rather have the DFP builtin and not go with a adapter, sorry.

Well then, as you've probably already found out, your pretty limited to the Rage Pro / XPERT and Stealth Viper cards with 8M. If you want 128M (or more), you'll need the adapter.

The Rage 128 Pro has native support for DFP specification (still needs an adapter), and still only has 32M. There's also a 32M Oxygen card with the MDR20 connector on the card, but it's AGP.
