MPG1 + Time Display + Nero

I burned some MPG1 (VCD) with Nero but my DVD Player (Philips DVD 722) dont display the time. Are there any special options to enable the Time Display for the VCDs?

Nero sucks at burning anything other than pure whitebook standard VCDs (even then I wouldn't use it ). I'd recommend using VCDImager to make a bin/cue file and then burn the bin image file. There are a lot of ways to do this but the easiest is with a GUI for VCDImager:

VCDEasy (http://www.doom9.org)
VCDImager Gui (in the tools section)
TSCV (http://www.ttool.org archived at doom9 too)

Both VCDEasy and TSCV come bundled with CDRDAO, a freeware burning program. To burn bin/cue files see the author section to the left.
