Hello,
I purchased a Samsung DVD-R130 dvd recorder last X-mas, and since that time I have been able to copy two DVDs. Other attempts have lead me to a message saying "you cannot record copywritten material". Are there any tips or tricks around this inconvenience? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In short, no. Very few standalone units allow you to copy original discs (movies/games/music). There were a few older Lite-On units that you could disable macrovision, but those are no longer produced.
There are various "boxes" that may or may not work for what you are trying to do. Just do a search on macrovision.
Your best bet would be to use your pc.Google is your Friend -
That's dissapointing. Thanks for the reply though. i'll have to check out macrovision.

Go to this web site and buy a stabilizer. Mine works just fine.
