Hello all! I was wondering can anyone recommend a program which I could use to convert multiple files and filetypes to DivX by simply dragging and dropping. I have about 450 files and I refuse to go adding them into Dr.DivX one at a time. Im aware that I can run a batch convert with Dr.Divx but it still requires me running through each file one at a time before I run the batch. I have also tried the DivX Converter but the outputted avi's seem to have a timecode error. I notice that when I try playing a file on my DVD/DIVX Player that I cannot skip into the file. So any options that anyone could suggest would be appreciated!

    thanks in advance.

Thanks for the post it looks like it might do the trick. It took me a while to work out what a ".7z" file was though! (Googled it and saw it was a type of zip file). Thanks for the help. Its almost 3 in the morning so Ill check this out tomorrow and get back to you. Thanks!

Sorry about that 7z has become a popular way to compress files as it gives up to 30% better compression than ZIP. BTW, those particular mencoder files are optimized for AMD processors. Go to the same site and download the ones specific to your own proc for fastest performance. I see you have an Athlon, but for anyone else interested....
