I had movies from a camera that I put on my mac in MPEG2 format. I converted them to MPEG4 using ffmpegx (latest version).

I then took these MPEG4 files and added titles and such onto them in iMovie and rendered them as .mov files.

I then took these files and tried to convert them to .flv using ffmpegx. When I do so, it just produces a file that is Zero KB in size and isn't the actual video that I am trying to convert?

Does anyone know a way around this? Is there some sort of add-on that I need? I have tried using iMovie to export to several different formats (3gp, mpeg4, etc) and none will successfully convert to .flv.

Is there something wrong with the connection between iMovie and ffmpegx?

    Thanks,

    Micah

Micah, you might spend the $23 for VisualHub. I just dropped
an MP4 onto it, selected "flash" as the output, checked the
box for "raw flv," and clicked the "start" button. Get it here:

    Worked fine.

    Case,

Thanks a lot. I seemed to be having the same problem as the other guy, so I checked the Invert Mapping box and it created the file.

    Thanks!!!
