    I converted a mov to flv, but the audio came out as static. Anybody have any ideas.

    Does your audio stream have a sampling rate of 44100, 22050, or 11025 Hz? Other values may not be valid.

    Can you provide the audio details of the MOV file? Codec, bitrate, number of channels, sampling rate, bits per sample. Perhaps your source audio is not 16 bit sample size?
    Maybe you could provide a link/URL for closer inspection?
