i hope this isn't a dumb question or request. i have a relative who lives in another state and owns a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD 105. she is using DVD-RW mini discs. she can play them fine in a stand alone DVD player but the discs are not recognized by any computers.
does anyone have any suggestions????
thank you!!!!!!!

I had a boss once who told us, "The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask." I take that to heart.
My first guess would be that the disc is not finalized. That has to be done in the camera itself when she is finished recording to the disc. I had the same thing happen. My wife teaches a broadcast class and a student filmed some stuff on a MiniDVD. Her PC and ours at home would see a disc, but it appeared blank. 1 DVD player at school would read it. Turns out it had not been finalized and once it was everything was right with the world.
