    Important breakthrough. But nothing worth waiting for. It just means that should you wait you will continue to get a faster product at the Moore's Law rate of increase.

    Although most of the articles have been pretty even-handed on the Intel vs AMD aspects of the announcement (both will benefit). There has been nothing to indicate that AMD will be increasing their wafer size, which means Intel retains its manufacturing cost advantage.

    Well...as I'm still savin' my "Butter-n-Egg" money, for a new Kentsfield quad sys,
    it would just figure that these would come out...right after I put one together... :P
