I got one at Wal-Mart two days ago ... seems to have a lot of weird behaviors.

Time is not correct and doesn't seem to stay correct.

When I had it hooked up to my Directv HD box ... the HR 10 ... I used the video input component connection [and yes I had it set for 480i ... easy to change ... I have to use this output for the Panasonic EH50] ... and got a signal and then minutes later ... I had no signal. I then used the S-VHS video input ... got a signal and then ... no signal.

I then tried the composite video in connection ... by then I was confused ... and greatly lacking sleep.

I finally had to go to sleep and video in was working but ... not sure which video input was actually working.

Oh ... I did take the 80 gig hard drive out and put in a Maxtor 300 gig ... hours increased and the whole sheebang.

Has anybody had the problem with the video input problem ... if this can't be solved ... I have no choice but to take it back.

No seals were broken because there isn't any and I doubt the sales people at Wal-Mart will see any indicators I opened it up.

I found the problem ... the Directv box ... I had a HDMI cable attached ... when I unplugged ... I had Component Video reaching the Polaroid unit ... the clock problem is still kind of there.
