Here's the problem: I just got xBox 360 HD DVD player and I want to hook it up to my Media Center PC so as to be able to watch HD DVD's on my computer. I followed all the steps posted on-line and in one of the threads here, and the PC recognizes the drive and when I put HD DVD into the drive the folder structures shows in Windows Explorer. However, PowerDVD 7 Ultra does not recognize the xBox drive as HD DVD drive and therefore installs Blu-ray version of the software (installation setup automatically chooses configuration to install and, to my knowledge, there is no way to do manual selection). What could be the problem here, and is there any way to solve it? PowerDVD does recognize the xBox drive as a regular DVD drive and I have no problems playing regular DVD's; but since it won't recognize it as HD DVD player it wouldn't let me play HD DVD's.
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the info and the links. After two days of installaing and reinstalling PowerDVD and looking for pointers on different forums, my problem was that I have two Toshiba -- on regular and one HS (xBox). For whatever reason, PowerDVD would not recognize xBox HD DVD player for as long as the other Toshiba DVD drive was enabled, but as soon as I disabled it in Device Manager the problem was gone and the HD version of PowerDVD was installed. Now the only thing I need to do -- which is a bit annoying -- is keep disabling my regular Toshiba drive when I want to use HD DVD player with PowerDVD. I am not sure if there is workaround for this -- perhaps the next version of PowerDVD will solve the problem.
Anyhow, after I figured this and updated my video card from ATI X800 to ATI X1950 all is working great and I am able to watch HD DVD's without any problems -- so far.
