A note for such device's due to the number of rip off's concerning flash memory .

When you get it , dump file's to the device till it is almost completely full ... leaving about 25 mb's empty .

If you notice weird file's , even multiple's of different size's , being generated using non-system character's , then the device is not showing the true capacity , and has been hacked .

To reset and clean the device of file's , right click my computer on desktop , and select manage , from here you can format and wipe them clean .

    --------------------------

There is another tool online that dose this , but once used , you can nolonger reset the device to the original , as bought value ... do not use it , as some manufacturer's , even though they cheated / robbed you , will not accept the return of the device ... complain all you will , it land's on deaf ear's .

China dose not allow the re-importation of some communication device's such as those containing tuner's for radio station's , this gose especially for mp4 player's with this feature .

I have one of the 1G flash drives, in fact it's connected to my PC right now.
it's totally no frills -- didn't even come in any packaging
but who cares? it was FREE (they sent me a coupon in the mail right after Xmas).
    now I wish it was a 2G...
