I own a JVC DVD/HDD Video Recorder, model no.
DR-MH20SEK. Purchased on 1/1/05.
I have been really pleased with the product since I purchased it but in the last couple of weeks the playback quality of recorded programmes from the HDD has markedly deteriorated with the picture lacking depth, sharpness and colour. The DVD operation is perfect and even watching channels through the TV tuner on the deck gives no cause for concern. Does this mean that the HDD is failing in some way after only 2yrs of ownership?
I have read the manual carefully and checked theJVC UK site FAQs but there doesn't seem to be a description of the problem.
Can you please help?
