    then i install DIXD XPRESS pro this error shows up, i press ok and install wmfdist95.exe. but when i try to open DIXD XPRESS pro, but it wont open. why can i use DIXD XPRESS pro? is my windows meida player not compatable with DIXD XPRESS pro? i have windows meida player 11 installed on my pc, any help would be great thanks

    Have you installed Windows Media Format 9.5 ?
    Have you tried uninstalling WMP11 and installing WMP10 ?

    I suspect you have acquired an older copy of Avid Express Pro, written before WMP11 was released. Avid is very particular about the software and hardware configurations they support, and therefore on what they allow their software to install. If your PC does not conform to their requirements exactly then you cannot play.

    I suggest you follow the instructions that have given you, go back to your install CD, and install the software versions required. Or ask for your money back and use a different editor.
