  1. I have a TV commercial on a DVD. I need a quick way to rip it and get a file I can use for the web. I guess I need to turn it into an AVI. Then from there I can take it into Quicktime Pro and create a .mov or .flv

    Any programs you recommend?

Personally I would rip the VOB to MP4 via Nero Recode (320x240, enable Quick compatibility) -- from there QT should be a quick conversion.

  3. Thanks alot. You saved me so much time. I just tried following this long tutorial using multiple programs and piecing it back together. And it still didn't work. Nero Recode worked great in just a couple minutes!

  4. I can't seem to make a wmv file. I need one of those too. I thought Quicktime Pro could export that for me. Any good tools to turn the Mpeg4 into a WMV?

  6. Movie Maker will not import Quicktime or Mpeg4. I exported avi and then imported the avi into movie maker and it was terrible quality.

  8. I used DVD Dycrypter to create the vob file. And Movie Maker will not allow me to import it. I looked in the help in Movie Maker and these are the only supported file types:
Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
