Hello --
I bought a Pioneer DVR-220 in order to undertake a video conversion project, taking our family's VHS tapes and converting them to DVDs. I completed the process of going from VHS -> DVD. Then, the project sat idle for a while until I found time to copy all of the DVDs for my various family members. In the mean time, since I thought that I no longer needed the Pioneer, I sold it.
When I got around to copying the DVDs, I discovered that ONE of the twenty or so DVDs was not "finalized" (at least I think that is the problem). It is unreadable by a standard DVD reader/writer or DVD player. But there is definitely data on it.
Therefore, I'm wondering if someone with a Pioneer DVR-220 would be kind enough to simply finalize this DVD for me. I will send it along with a self-addressed stamped envelope so that all you would have to do is drop it back in the mail.
I would be VERY grateful for this!
Please email me directly at johndoe999999@gmail.com if you can assist me with this.
Thanks.

You should have been able to read the DVD-RW in your computer even though it was unfinalized. You could try a copy of IOBuster and that will likely read the contents even if some of the files are damaged.
