Phillips dvdr3400 playback color setting?

OK, I spent an hour trying to find these both on the machine and in these forums. Please somebody tell me a machine with all these features at this late date is not without the ability to adjust brightness/hue/saturation etc. for playback. I beg of thee.

I'm starting to come to the astonishing conclusion that you can't adjust the color on this damn thing.

Nope, you sure can't. My picture came out all green when I first connected using progressive scan. After upgrading the software it was normal, but still too dark and the tuner reception is poor. Very dissatosfied with this recorder and it's going back.

What a drag. Overall, mine is fine for what I use it for. The playback is just a little oversaturated sometimes. $h1t. Oh well.
