    Hello
I cant find any reviews of this machine nor manuals LG RC-197?
I found it on sale for 328$

It shows on the Swedish LG page (but in swedish )
    http://nordic.lge.com/sv/proddivergent.do?categoryId=0308&modelCategoryId=&parentId=03

It says thanks to the DVFX chip the recordings will be improved.
Booth the RC19series & RC18series has this chip.
And the RC19series can record up to 11 hours on one DL DVD record.

And the only model that look simular is the american site is V194H? http://us.lge.com/products/model/detail/tv|audio|video_digital%20video__V194H.jhtml

    So my questions is:
    Is LG a good brand?
Is the vcr part good on old tapes?
Is the dvdrecorder part good? (no macroblocks etc?)
Can I record a dual layer dvd in SP mode (4 hours) in one recording or will it pause at the layerbrake?
Is it noisy? (fans or heatpipes?)
Is it possible to play an ntsc vhs tape (and record it to ntsc or to pal dvd?)

    EDIT:
I found a german page that list this model but not much information about it
AND another one with an H in the end (RC-197H)
    http://de.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?catModel=4&actType=&modelName=&currentPage=&categ...isplay=RC-197H
They have a german manual as pdf

"using LSI's DVFX™ software for 3D noise reduction and de-interlacing as well as picture in picture and picture alongside picture processing, and audio post processing and transcoding."
