Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help. I made a 20 minute video project with the video clips, a couple samples of music from a cd, some grabbed frames from the video clips and some regular transitions and titles. I can output this to tape but when I try to output as an AVI file, it renders fine until the last few seconds then comes up with this error...

X unknown error occurred while accessing an unnamed file.

It actually appears to work though as I can watch the video but perhaps there are still problems, just ones that I can't detect until I try to do more with the video.

The reason I am trying to make an AVI file is that I am attempting my first SVCD. I've only ever outputted to tape. When I used TMG whatever, it seemed to work outputting as A MPEG 2 file but Nero tells me that there are three errors which I can give details later once I get through (if I get through) this initial problem.

Hope someone can help. I was hoping I could get through burning to a vcd or svcd without headaches.

I just want to add that I tried using the same MPEG 2 in ULEAD MOVIE FACTORY and the message that came up was...

The MPEG frame size exceeds SVCD specifications. Do you want to create a XSVCD instead?

The first time it asked me this, I said "yes" but after a few minutes the software crashed and closed out the program.

If I say "no", it says that my current MPEG 2 video is not a SVCD MPEG file.

What is wrong and how can I correct this.
