I'm receiving this error message, when I try to burn to multiple recorders at once. Is there anyway to get around this problem.

No common write speed for these recorders.

Do you mean to a DVR or a computer DVD writer? What program are you using to burn with? I've done this with Nero and never had a problem. Are you burning the same file or two different files? And what is the exact text of the error?

A little more info would be helpful.

    And welcome to our forums.

I'm using Nero, and this is the message that it gives me. I am burning one image file.

No common write speed for these recorders.

Are they using the same bus type?
Are they the same (or very similar) model?
Do you have "MAX" as the speed setting on both?

    Find a Lowest Common Denominator...
    (give us more info also)

Could be your choice of those particular Memorex discs might be the problem...

Get better media, something that'll record at a faster speed (e.g. 4x, 8x). Then, you'll have something that both burners should be able to burn simultaneously.

(Once again, Memorex rears its ugly head!)
