Alright so I got a 32hlc56 I think it is toshiba 32 inch HD monitor. I mainly got it for watching DVDs and playing PS3 or whatever when I get one but thought what the heck might as well mess with it on my PC too.

so at any rate it only supports 4 resolutions via the VGA 640x480 800x600 1024x768 and 1280x1024. how this works on a 1368x768 I don't know.

If I set my res to anything 1360sx768 I basically get the center of my desktop and thats it all though it does finally go to full screen.

I was thinking of trying DVI to HDMI but the manual says never to hook your PC up to the HDMi. Is there any reason this would be a problem? Or are they just trying to keep people from doing it because as I have read on these forum that it just isn't a very good way to go.

If anyone knows a way I can tweka it to get full screen without it looking all crazy the info would be handy. If not I guess I can live without widescreen.
