I converted some movies from .avi to dvd (Cinema Craft Encoder... Virtualdubmod & ffmpeggui03c for the audio... Authored with DVD Lab Pro, and burned on dvd.)

Is there ANY chance that I get some audio delay on specific dvd players? Or it must be the same for every player around? I mean if movie plays well on MY dvd player, is it supposed to play well on EVERY dvd player?

    thanks.

If it's fine in one it's fine for all, assuming it plays in them.

You can make no guarantees for burned media. There are simply too many combinations to say for certain that any disc you create will play in any given player. Newer kit should have less issues than older kit, however older kit is less certain.

Back in the early days of players and digital amps, some combinations caused audio sync issues with commercial discs.
