Hi,
I am trying to convert these strange looking avi's they came from a pal european camera..the size of the avi's are 720x576 and when I import them to adobe premiere and then frameserve it to tmpgenc to make my mpeg1 file
my mpeg file always comes out very fuzzy and blurry sort of like it is not deinterlaced. Like when motion is involved you can barely see anything.
I am trying to make a 448x336 mpeg file and I have deinterlaced checked on even field adaptation.
this usually works fine for avi's that are in 720X480 from NTSC cameras.
Maybe I am missing something here like a check box or a format?
Or maybe I need to go about using a different size for the video?
Please help.

Well it doesn't have to be 448x336
but this problem happens with any size really
what size do you suggest? I don't think size will fix the problem by itself though.thanks
Steve
