getting rid of the credits hmmm

hi all,

I got this movie on my pc and wanna put on a data disk...prob is it dont fit on it an i need to loose 2-3 megs in size

Any1 know a real easy programme that i can cut the movie, say get rid of the credits at the end of the movie

What kind of movie? AVI?
If so, VirtualDub is the tool to use.
Don't forget to set both audio & video to "direct stream"

hi, the movie is a AVI using Xvid codec

I just tried VirtualDub, setthe movie to start and to end ( loosing the end movie credits)..However after selecting save as avi I cancelled it after it went over 700 megs

I dont wanna convert it,compress etc etc, just delet 2mins of credits at the end of the movie so will fit on a data disk.

In that case, I'm pretty sure you didn't set both audio and video to direct stream.
