How would you lower the volume on a Philps DVP 5140 so you don't have the static sound during high pitch sound ? I was able to do this on my Apex 1100W dvd player by clicking the + or - on the volume button on my remote. It worked so that when I turned the volume up higher on the tv there was no more static sound during high pitch sounds ;ole when music is playing during a show's scene.
Seems to only happen mainly on shows and sometimes only certain ones but not sure why.
I just know lowering audio on my apex 1100w, which only had vcd and svcd support, fixed the problem for me and if I could do the same thing on my philps dvp 5140 it would work as well! I just don't know how or if I can.
