    I am converting some TiVo files and burning them to DVD. The process I am using is briefly:
    1. Edit out Commercials with Video ReDo
    2. Add Menu using DVD Styler
    3. Burn to DVD using ImgBurn.

    I have found that the Finished DVD is playable on my newer Panasonic Player but not on my older Pioneer player. I may have to just live with this; however, it was suggested that I may be able to make my DVDs mor compatible by running the MPG file through gui4ffmpeg between steps 2 and 3.

    The input file to gui4ffmpeg is 3GB and the file output is only 622MB. When I play the final file it is very blocky, like it has a very low resolution. Am I missing some setting? I have tried adding options -flags ilme+ildct -top 1 and not adding them with no difference.

    Any suggestions are welcome. (I know, replace the offending player )

    Please have a look in this thread:

    To use gui4ffmpeg 2.1, please add a 'k' after the bitrate in the
    related field in the GUI eg:

    6000 -> 6000k
    or
    900 -> 900k

    In the next version of gui4ffmpeg i'll put this automatically in the birate parameter.
