    I picked up a 75 spindle of this Sony Media on sale tonight. The Sony 16D1s were very good media, but the first and second burns with the new? SONY-D21-00 I bought has left several dots and the smallest amount of discolouration around them within the burned area. Has Sony been outsourcing again? The 16D1s have never had dots or discolouration, just clean burns.. If the same happens with more discs I'll post back.

    Two more discs had the discoloured dots. But I've found it disappears when burning at x6. Looks like a problem with the dye. All 4 discs seem to play just fine on my PC.
