    Hello...

    I was trying to burn some DATA-DVDs and when I tried it with Nero 7, he acuede that the disc was not a recordable one...

    the same happened with PowerISO...

    to try a diferent soluvtion I made a Disc Image with PowerISO and tried to brun the image with Alkohol 120%...it worked...

    now even Alkohol doesnt work anymore...

    DVD disc I was trying to burn : DVD5 - LG DVD-R

    DVD Writer : GSA-4160B

    Help appreciated...

    It could be a couple of issues. First I would try a different brand/type of media and/or updating to the latest firmware if any is available. If new media and updated firmware don't solve the problem, then most likely the drive is defective.
