    I have heard there is a software to freeze what is on my PC's screen. This would make a digital "photograph" of the image. I want to do this while I play my DVD movies.

    Thanks for reading this.

    Many applications for playing and editing video has this function, there's also many ways listed here in the sticky at the top of this forum: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=239865

  3. Try VLC, its free, has a capture function.

    Btw, CTRL plus PRINTSCREEN button combo captures your screen to a file in windows.

    ALT + PrintScrn = Active Window
    PrintScr = Entire Screen

    (I never remember, so I have it written on my keyboard )

    Print screen key doesn't always work. If you have software video accelerator set, you'd only get a blank box where the video should be. Disabling them usually works.
