I was attempting to watch a .ogg file, using windows media player and the combined community codec pack (specifically the ffd show video decoder) and when the video plays, the video is split and the left half repeats. I've attached a URL to the picture to illustrate. How would I go about fixing this, or is my file just bad? I've also tried playing it using Zoom Player Standard and the same video decoder, and the video will not even display; I get only the audio.
Edit: This is also happening with other .ogg files and .mkv files from a different anime series.

Have you tried installing and using the ogg codec from the codecs page?

Ok, what it turned out to be was that the file needed divX and the ffd show decoder was messing it up. I have no idea why these files are odd; I've always used the Combined Community Codec pack, and it's been able to play everything I've thrown at it. But oh well, it works now! Thanks so much.

OGM video is often Divx or Xvid video with Ogg audio.
And welcome to our forums. -
Yeah, I was about to say that it was probably an ogm file. ogm != ogg. ogg video means theora video. DivX/XviD means it must be ogm.
