Someone in a neighborhood church would like to record the service and have about 6 DVDs available before the deacons lock up (about 20+ minutes after the service finishes) to take to shut-ins or other people that couldn't make it to the service.

What is the fastest way from camera to multiple dvds?

Have a dvd camera and then dump into a duplicator?
Capture directly to hard disk and then to duplicator?
Burn straight to dvd-recorder and then duplicate?
    What equipment is needed?

Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks.

  2. Send A/V (or DV) output from the camcorder directly to a DVD recorder while the servce is being videotaped... simultaneously recording in real time to a DVD-R (or DVD-RW) during the service. When the service is done, finalize the DVD-R/RW and put it in a 6+ burner DVD duplicator. You should be able to finish the copies within the 20 minutes alloted. That way, you have a higher quality DV tape master of the service, too.
