when i use vob merge, i end up with a little "skip" where the first vob ends and the second vob begins.
its a problem because i'm trying to put music videos together.

what can i do to make it smoother?

You could try vob2mpg and then use a mpg editor to work with it.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

If the vobs are from different videos you may get a skip between them if you are using vobmerge, it is mainly for joining vobs from same dvd vobset. You could try use a real mpeg editor like videoredo instead.

  4. To confirm Baldrick, yes, you will get a skip in the middle of 2 vobs from different videos.

Perfect merging/cutting only works for the same set. VTS_01, VTS_02, etc, etc, etc....

they are from the same set. sometimes, it merges cleanly, but it seems like a couple of frames are missing in between, is it a problem with the video files?
