  1. OK...I got my Wii online using the USB Wifi connector (A connector that plugs into the PC to give off a signal) I just had to turn off sygate. HOWEVER, Wifi icon kept giving me a pop up reminding me the Wii was connected and it started to annoy the hell out of me. I turned it off.

A few days later, I try to turn it back on but nothing is available for me to actually turn it back on. SO, I uninstall it and try to reinstall everything. NOTHING WORKS!! It will install the drivers for the connector, but then refuses to install the rest of the software complain about there not being a connection WHEN THERE IS!! I know not many people have a Wii, but here's hoping someone does!!

Try buying a wifi router and ditching the connector. I have an old dlink di-524 G router and it works perfectly with my Nintendo WII. All I had to tell it was my WEP password and I was online. No fuss no connectors no hassle. You should even be able to keep your sygate whatever it is. As long as you have a working wifi router your WII should find the network and simply log in. Thats all it did for me. I don't have anything connected to the wii except my gamecube memory card and my wireless gamecube controller receiver. The built in WIFI on the WII really works well and worked the first time I hooked up.

I think standard WIFI G routers go for like $50 USD or less these days - probably less with rebates and holiday sales.

  3. I'll try looking for one. The connector was about 30 bucks...kind of a waste now...

Well you could sell it on ebay. Wii accessories are hard to find right now.

  8. Why wait 7 days when it only takes 7 minutes to plug in, and 7 seconds to pop a game in and start things up...hmmmm...that sounds a whole lot better than 7 DAYS.
