this is what i dont understand..... if you have programs like dup-dvd, and dvd2vcd than why go thru the painfull processes of programs like claddvd, flaskmpeg, tmnveng (or whatever it is) and nero. according the the readme files on dup-dvd, it does the entire process for you. has anyone used it ?

Hopefully it rips the dvd to the harddrive and not the read-encode methoid

Nice program does what it says, but the price tag is kind of steep'ouch' $39.95USC, hopefully someone will come up with a working serail on this one...

I've use this piece of software, and it works great. As for the price, yes it is a little steep, but still well worth the cost. Sure saves a lot of problems and work using some of the other ways of doing the same job.

so basically with this program, you can insert a dvd, insert a cdr, run the program, then take the cdr directly to your dvd player.
if this is what your telling me than this program is gold as far as im concerned. i have had nothing but problems ripping dvd's the other way. i have not been sucessfull one time !
i think i'll give dup-dvd a try.
anyone wanna split the cost with me ?
