Hey
I'm tyring to make an avisynth script and am having troubles getting the script for the matroska (mkv) source file. I've got Haali Media Splitter installed and the video plays fine in WMP and all my media players. I also got ffdshow.
I've tried DirectShowSource( ) and avisource( ) (I didn't expect avisource to work but just tried it for the hell of it) and it hasn't worked. I usually preview the avs with MPC before I encode but it doesn't show anything. CCE doesn't accept it either
I'm wanting to encode to mpeg-2 (for dvd) using CCE. I've had no problems with avi's and mpeg2's, but this is my first attempt at mkv with CCE/Avisynth.
Some help please

I would use mkvextract first, then work with the contents instead.

To be honest, I don't play with mkv files, I just believe in the path of least resistance as a viable option. In this case, that was MKVExtract.

Errr. I just tried MKVExtract again and it extracted a .h264 and .mp3.
What can I do with the .h264 ?
The first time I used MKVExtract it outputted a .avi file that was easy to work with
Help Please
