whats the best way to convert parts from DVD to mp3 files?

I was wondering what should i do to convert parts from DVD movie to MP3 music files?

Use smartripper, copy the audio track only (stream processing tab).
Do the .ac3 to .mp3 conversion with BeSweet (Azid+Lame).

that way sucks monkey nuts, becuase you have to rip the entire audio track..

you should just rip the vob you want to extract the audio from then use dvd2avi and rip that certain section from the movie, such as a cool quote or something, you can then edit and do slight trimming to it from there..

i've done this a kabillion times.. the way of the gun was the best

You can even rip a chapter only. Or is that a problem for you?

You can use MP3 Liquid Burn to extract music files from DVD movies and save them as MP3 or Wave.
