Hi all,
I have a movie (WMV) that I have payed for and downloaded to hardrive, but when I attempt to play it using Microsoft's Media Player it fails as it tries to acquire the needed license. I have emailed the company who I bought it from but have received no answer at this time.
Is there an alternate player that I can try it on ?

If the video has DRM and has to acquire a license, you're probably limited to Media Player. I'm not sure about the other players, especially if they don't use DirectShow/VfW to play.

G'Day Ai,
Yea it does have DRM.
Thought I'd ask anyway.
Thanks
