mplayer crashes each time on macmini intel

i have installed ffmpeg on two different macminis. on both machines mplayer crashes each time on quiting. (using preview or autocrop). the player works fine, but it crashes during quiting. each time i get a big error dialog from ffmpeg.

Did you quit mplayer with Esc or Return? Does it crash on a specific file or any file at all?

The same happens for me. I, however, access my mini from my laptop using VNC and I assumed that was part of the problem. I have been closing the player from the menu, but I will try using one of the other methods tonight. I will post a screenshot of the error if you would like.

My mplayer doesn't have a Quit menu item. I have a menu under Movie and Window in the menu bar, but not under the app name, where you'd normally find the Quit command.

You must not use the Quit command to quit mplayer. It doesn't work. Use the RETURN key.

Return works for me!

I have allways used the close button from the mplayer window.

my mac minis are intel, i nerver had this problem on PPC
