I have a PAL format DV tape that is about 60 min in length. I need to have the content split to multiple DVDRs and saved as DV files. I cannot do the tape to PC transfer myself since I don't have the equipment. Can someone recommend someplace that can do this for me?

Just rent a DV camcorder for a day from rent a center and do it yourself.
Probably the cheapest way to do it.Eric -
I doubt any local rental place here in the States has a PAL unit though.

Oh yeah my mistake sorry.
There are places that convert PAL to NTSC dvd/vhs.
I would call one and ask if they do it, if not they probably know somewhere that does.Eric -
I have called a number of them so far. They only seem to do DV to compliant DVD conversions. Not transfer of the DV file format to DVD disc.

Update:
I have reached a few professional places that can do this. I was amazed at how much they want to charge for this procedure.
Is there anyone here from a PAL region that can easily get this done? -
