Hey
I wanna try to convert DTS sound to DD5.1 and put it on a dvd, is that a good idea?
Will I get a good result?
I have never tried converting it before and I found a nice guide for it here so I wanted to ask here first if it's clever to do, or not.

I guess I don't see the reason you'd need to. Any dvd with dts would have a dolby digital track on it also.

Oh that would make it a worthwile project then. The only way to find out is to do it. I've never done a dts to dolby conversion so I can't tell you. Good luck.
