I am trying to convert a DivX-movie into a format that can be imported into Sony DVD Architect so I can make a DVD out of it. When I try to convert it the video dissapears, only audio is preserved.
I've tried A-One Video Converter, WinAVI Video Converter 7.7, Vegas Video 7.0b. I tried to convert into a bunch of different formats. Always the same problem. Any ideas?
I post an image with the video details from GSpot.
Oh, another thing. I am very new to the whole convertion world

VBR MP3 audio is your problem. Follow the instructions in this post to change the audio to uncompressed PCM, and you should have no troubles -> https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1577383#1577383
Personally, I'd ditch WinAVI as well - awful software.Read my blog here.

Thanks for your response. I will look into the post later tonight. But are you sure the audio is my problem? Cause the other post was about a person having trouble getting the audio to work properly in the converted version. I have problem getting the video to work properly (at all) in the converted version. Seems strange that the audio format could caus my problem...
Okay, as I said I'm very new to video converting. So what app you think is the best for video conversion?
Thanks again! -
For DivX/XviD to DVD nothing beats convertx2dvd for those not inclined to do some searcing, guide reading and guide trying on their own.
