High, Ive just ordered a new box off of telewest, its HD, but only one channel at the moment. the trouble is its hdmi, and my tv only has dvi. I know I can get a convertor, but the trouble is, my computer is currently plugged into it. ive done a quick google, but no joy, I dont think my tv is truly hdtv, its a lg rz32lz50. ive done some reserch and it seems to be questionable weather it is hdtv complient, I was hoping I could get it through the DVI connector, or component. how high def can component go, while im here
So what im asking is is there anyway to hook up my new box, and my computer to the one DVI, or would I have to get off my ass and swap the cables, I just thought about that as my computer does sit next to it anyway.
Thanks in advance
John

The display is capable of HD @ 1366 x 768 pixels native resolution.
I can't find a good I/O spec sheet for that model but if you have analog components from the box and on the TV, set the box to 720p and enjoy. For PAL, 1080i may be an acceptable setting as well.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

thanks edDV, ive only just started to use component, for my DVD, wasnt really sure how far it could go, I know its not progresive. im going to have to study up more on the resolutions. I get 576i from my DVD player which looks ok.
