I just bought one of those cheap TruTech TT320 or T600-D DVD players and am having trouble getting a signal to my new Olevia flat panel TV. Can't get a signal at all. I think it's me because I had the exact same problem with another brand and another TV, both returned. I heard that you have to change the input mode on the DVD player before a flat panel can recognize the signal, but without a screen how am I supposed to do that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS the TV seems to work fine.

How are you connecting the DVD (is it a player or a recorder?) to your TV? ... In other words are you using composite video or S-video or component video or HDMI or what?
