I got an avi, but the sound track has some pops in it. I demux'd using vdubmod, edited with GoldWave, but it doesn't save as AC3, so I saved as WAV. When I remux'd with vdubmod, at the end of the clip there is aboout a half second delay in the sound track. what can I do to avoid this delay? any free s/w to edit AC3? also have Audition 1.5 which doesn't recognize AC3.
thanks

Hi
Is new track you fixed the same length as original?
You said that you fixed some pops. Did you cut them out? If so you shortened the track.
I do not know your software, but if it has a pen tool that you can use to draw on the track, than enlarge the pop(track timeline) and draw wave similar to rest of the track, it will fix it. Pop (seen as high spike)is short so whatever you draw will not be heard in the play.
