Conveting to avi xvid problem plsssssss help out of sync

im trying to convert a mpg vcd video to avi xvid but i always get little out of sync problems tirend to convert with virtualdubmod winavi or stipping the audio alone convert it to mp3 and then add the stream to the video using virtualdubmod but i always out of sync problems

you can see there is a little out of sync when they're talking it doesn't seem that the voice is totally in sync with the lips in the converted video pls helppppppp how can i get a god avi xvid in good sync thanks

I downloaded the MPG video and converted with VirtualDubMod. A/V sync in the resulting Divx AVI file wasn't noticably different than the source. How far off is your A/V sync?
