Pinnacle Studio cannot save captured video on the hard disc

I am using Pinnacle Studio 9.4 plus and i have this problem. I try to capture video at full resolution and Studio does everything just fine saying "capturing video at file ...AUXILIARY FILES/PROJECT NAME/VIDEO.AVI" but when all is done the file VIDEO.AVI doesnt exist neither at the specified location nor anywhere on my PC and i have to recapture!! It is really weird ... Can anyone tell me something about it?

After the capture is complete, are you saving the file and/or project, before closing Studio? Can you see and play the project from the screen after capturing it? Check your options/preferences and see what you have set as defaults for saving files.
