But DMA is enabled. Only wants to rip around at 2X. Haven't tried burning but if its this slow to rip I'm not really interested in waiting 30 minutes for a disc. Weird that it just started doing this.

Ok did a 12X burn and had no problems, tried to open the Disc in Shrink taking 7 minutes, and only ripping at 2-3X in DVD(& Fab) Decrypter.

Power issue? First time ripping since upgrading to Antec Nine Hundred and all 4 of the fans(3X120mm & 1X200mm) are all on the same lead as the drive.

Isn't that drive riplocked? If so it will read retail discs that slow. You can remove the riplock by using hacked firmware.
