From Mp4 to avi using river past video cleaner

hi ,
i just download demo River Past Video cleaner
and convert mp4 file size 236 mb but after converting
the avi file now 3gb , how to convert from mp4 file to avi
without effecting the file size

To convert without effecting the filesize, don't convert, remux, but then with avi you are probably looking at higher overhead, so the size would go up anyway. Wouldn't recommend aac in avi either or AVC video if it happens to contain that.

What output settings did you use? Sounds like it could be raw video. For the same size, you would need to use the same average bitrate (once again taking overhead into account if you want to be accurate to within more than a few MB's).
