The wife gave me a TC-P5032C for Xmas. These Pannys are sold at Target. I know its a stripped, bare bones 720p Plasma. It also may be built with a low end panel and Panasonic appears to make no claim of a 100,000 hrs life expectancy. A friend who installs satelite tv, tells me that stripped models are the way to go, and alot of the feature rich flat screens have nothing but problems. I just want to watch movies and sports on it, any issues with this model?
Should I keep it?

maybe if you guys picked it up at 499 when it was a common special over the holidays, but at it's usual 650 price it's a dog.

I own the TC-P42X3 model .I agree about the features like the Apps(Netflix, Facebook,,,) are worthless they just add extra cost to the TV. The only issue I have is the reflection .I always keep the blinds,lights off when its on
