  1. I have some mov files I would like to join and convert to be able to play them at my TV. However I canīt get them to work proper. After I have joined and convert them, the sound get out of sync.

    If I join the smal mov clips to one big mov file the sound is ok, but as soon as I have converted the joined mov file, it get out of sync. Have tried converting with both divx and xvid codecs and with different program such as Quick video joiner and TMPGEnc, but the result always get out of sync.

    Have also tried to first convert the mov files to xvid/divx files and then join them with Easy video joiner/ AVI joiner, but with the same result, out of sync.

    What cause these out of sync problems and is there away to get the mov files joined to one xvid file without loosing sync?

    Convert each to divx/xvid with mp3 CBR audio(no vbr).
    Join them with virtualdubmod instead of easy video joiner.

    Where can i found mp3 CBR codec? I donīt have that codec to choose from. I use to use either Windows Media Audio V2 or MPEG Layer-3.

    How do I join files with VirtualDubMod?

    Mpeg layer3 is mp3.

    virtualdubmod or virtualdub or virtualdub-mpeg2,
    file->open file
    file->append segment
    video->direct stream copy
    file->save as avi
